Invisalign uses virtually invisible aligners or trays to gradually move your teeth into place for a beautiful smile. A series of clear trays are made that are unique to you, replacing traditional metal braces. Our doctors will tell you how long to wear each tray — usually one or two weeks — and when to switch to the next one.

Starting treatment is easy. Blue Ridge Orthodontics uses 3D computer imaging with an iTero scanner, so no messy bite impressions are needed. The 3D scans are so precise, you can even see your stages of treatment right at the start.
Each patient is different, but most treatment cases take 12 to 18 months. After your scan, you’ll receive a set of trays and instructions for wearing them. You’ll wear each tray for 20 to 22 hours a day for one to two weeks, then switch to the next.
