You want a straight, confident smile without putting your life on hold for a mouth full of metal. Invisalign makes that possible, and our Diamond+ team makes it simple.
✓Diamond+ Top 1% Invisalign provider in North America
✓First office in Western North Carolina to earn Top 1% status
✓Same price as braces, with 0% interest payment plans
Blue Ridge Orthodontics is proud to be among the top 1% of Invisalign providers in North America. That’s the highest distinction an Invisalign provider can reach, and we were the first office in Western North Carolina to earn it. Whether you visit our Asheville, Hendersonville, or Brevard office, you get the same Diamond+ team and the same Invisalign experience. We’ve helped busy professionals, college students, and teens hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway straighten their smiles without brackets or wires.
Not every Invisalign provider has the same experience. As a Diamond+ provider and a VIP partner with Invisalign, our team has treated a large volume of Invisalign cases. That means two things for you:
Honest advice. We can tell you, with confidence, whether Invisalign is the right fit for you or your child, or whether another option will get you a better result.
Elite support. We have access to Invisalign’s most experienced technicians and customer service team, which helps keep your treatment plan precise and on schedule.
Because of that experience, many patients who were told elsewhere that they needed braces turn out to be good Invisalign candidates here.

How Invisalign Works
Invisalign uses a series of virtually invisible, custom-made aligners to gradually move your teeth into place. Each tray is slightly different from the last, applying gentle, precise pressure to guide your teeth where they need to go. Our doctors tell you how long to wear each tray, usually one to two weeks, and when to switch to the next one.
There are no bonded brackets and no wires to adjust. You simply switch to your next set of trays.
The Benefits of Invisalign
If Invisalign is right for you, it has real advantages over metal braces:
Discreet. The aligners are nearly invisible, so most people won’t notice you’re wearing them.
Removable. Take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. There are no wires or brackets, so you can eat what you like, food doesn’t get caught, and there’s nothing to break.
Comfortable. Smooth, closely fitted trays don’t irritate your cheeks the way wires and brackets can.
Convenient. Play a sport or an instrument? Keep up with your activities without changing your routine.
Fewer, shorter appointments. You switch to the next tray at home instead of coming in for a braces adjustment.
See your results first. We show you how your teeth will look at the end of treatment before you even begin.
Easier on your gums. Because aligners come out for brushing and flossing, they make oral hygiene easier. A meta-analysis in the Journal of the American Dental Association found that clear aligners were better for periodontal (gum) health than fixed braces, though the authors rated the evidence as medium quality.1
Are You a Good Candidate for Invisalign?
Invisalign works well for a wide range of alignment issues. You may be a great candidate if you have:
Mild to moderate crowding or extra spacing
Gaps between your teeth
A minor overbite or underbite
Mild crossbite issues
We’ll always be honest with you. Research supports clear aligners as an effective option for mild to moderate cases. A systematic review in Orthodontics & Craniofacial Research found that clear aligners may produce outcomes comparable to braces for certain movements in mild to moderate malocclusions, while more complex tooth movements are less predictable with aligners alone.2 If your bite needs a complex correction, especially one involving significant jaw positioning, traditional braces may be the better, faster route. At your free consultation, our orthodontists will give you a straightforward recommendation based on what will get you the best result.

Best for
Mild to moderate cases; disciplined teens and adults
Teens can play sports, perform, and take school photos without a mouth full of metal. Because aligners only work when they’re worn, the 20–22 hour daily wear time matters, and we’ll help your teen build the habit. Learn about orthodontics for kids and teens.
Invisalign for Adults
It’s never too late. Many of our Invisalign patients start in their 30s, 40s, and beyond, and most of their coworkers never notice. Learn about adult orthodontics.
