Meet Dr. Roberts

Dr. Roberts, who is one of only two orthodontists in Asheville Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, is an active member in many leading dental organizations and associations. These include:

Dr. Roberts and his wife, Beth, live in Asheville with their children Quinn, Emma, and Charlie. Dr. Roberts’ hobbies include playing the guitar, banjo and mandolin. He also loves exquisite cuisine and is an avid cook.

A native of Spartanburg, SC, Dr. T. Luke Roberts opened Blue Ridge Orthodontics in the summer of 2007 after receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and Master of Science in Dentistry from the Medical College of Virginia. He graduated first in his class in dental school, and achieved unrivaled success in his orthodontics residency.  Dr. Roberts also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Davidson College.

Dr. Roberts loves seeing the transition that occurs when a person who has been self-conscious about their teeth and smile their entire life develops into a radiant, confident person with a great smile to back it up! He also loves our patients for their friendly and positive attitudes. Dr. Roberts knows that achieving a great smile is a team effort, and without patients who are willing to work with him it would be impossible to achieve such beautiful and functional final results.

When he’s not busy creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Roberts is deeply involved in continuing education concerning both traditional orthodontia and Invisalign®.  Additionally, he invests a lot of time in continuing education for practice management. This combination of clinical and practice management provides our patients at Blue Ridge Orthodontics the best mix of cutting-edge technology and a fantastic experience during their orthodontic treatment.

Meet Dr. Schuler

Dr. Megan G. Schuler has wanted to be an orthodontist since she herself had braces. Growing up she was self-conscious of her teeth and her smile. When she received orthodontic treatment, she became comfortable with her new smile and realized the difference that straight teeth could make in someone’s life.

“Straightening my teeth completely changed my attitude and gave me confidence,” Says Schuler.

After her treatment Dr. Schuler decided that she wanted to help give people the smiles that they always hoped for, so they could face the world proudly.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Blue Ridge Orthodontics team. I can’t wait for my move to Asheville and to meet my new patients,” she adds.

Dr. Schuler grew up outside Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia, attended the University of Georgia and is – not surprisingly – a UGA fan. Dr. Schuler also enjoys hiking, camping, yoga, reading, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with her husband, Brendan.
